Exhilarating energy surging through the lives and work of many has propelled AUC into full operation as an institution of higher education in the Seventh-day Adventist denomination. Classes resumed fall 2015, in both degree program and certificate program courses of study. Enrollment has continued to grow.

Atlantic Union College is still considered a small, rural college. The campus is infused with a culture of graciousness, dignity, respect and Christian love. It maintains its standing as the only college in the Atlantic Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists servicing Northern New England Conference, New York Conference, Southern New England Conference, Bermuda Conference, Greater New York Conference, and Northeastern Conference.

Students entering AUC can complete a degree in Health Science/Biology (B.S.), which provides a course of study for students to further their education in the health-care profession, such as: Nursing, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dental Hygiene, Nutrition and Dietetics; or a B.A. degree in Theology/Religion, which fulfills the pre-seminary requirements and prepares a student for the Pastoral Ministry and Allied professions such as Hospital Chaplaincy and Public Evangelism. There are certificate programs in: Bookkeeping, Evangelism (NETS), Office Management, Enrolled Agent, Medical Billing and Coding, Information Technology.

Another option available to students is to complete their general education courses, required by colleges, and transfer to another institution which has their desired major. The benefit of starting college or even continuing college at AUC is that quality education is offered at a discounted tuition rate. The cost of attending is far less than other institutions. Courses at AUC are transferable. The following are institutions with existing transfer agreements: Southwestern Adventist University, Andrews University (anticipated fall 2016). The list is still in formation.

Accreditation is a multistep process. AUC has made significant progress in meeting the initial requirements. The projection is a late 2017 determination. Accreditation is a work-in-progress geared towards the AAA and ACICS accreditation organizations; and NEASC in the future.

This is a good time to support AUC.  Isaiah 54:19.

Thank you. Be well in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ.
